Two son of community leader Kill as Unknown Gun men raid Reke Village in kwara state

The Nigerian Safety and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) in Kwara State has confirmed the killing of the son of Reke group chief (Magaji), Alhaji Abdullahi Jimoh.


It was gathered that the gang of the armed males invaded the Reke group at about 2 am on Monday, Could 31, and headed straight to the home of the Magaji, Alhaji Abdullahi Jimoh, the place they opened hearth on his eldest son whose identify was given as Abiodun.


The Reke group is positioned on Eyenkorin/Afon highway in Asa native authorities space of the state.


Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the NSCDC within the state command, Babawale Afolabi, who confirmed the incident stated that the corpse of the deceased had been taken to the Basic Hospital by the Police in Afon division for post-mortem


“In the present day 31st Could 2021 at about 0600hrs data reaching us in our NSCDC AFON DIVISION that Reke village was on hearth as some gang of armed guys got here in a single day round 0200hrs to Magaji compound of Reke village, they killed the Son of Reke village head.

He stated that officers of NSCDC had visited the scene of the crime and had commenced an investigation.
