Kwara COED Provost Sacked Over Mismanagement Of Funds, Institution Set To Audit Finances

As Unions Foil Plans To Instigate College students Protest

The Kwara State School of Schooling Ilorin Provost, Professor Abdulrahreem Yusuf has been sacked following alleged misappropriation and mismanagement of funds and subventions.

Studies indicated that funds meant for working of the establishment together with a N40 million month-to-month subvention by the state authorities had been misappropriated from the college’s coffers and weren’t accounted for.

Dr. Ahmed Ayinla has since been appointed because the School’s performing Provost, because the administration begins a complete audit of the monetary actions of the establishment.

In the meantime, a number of Unions within the establishment have foiled makes an attempt by the ousted Provost to instigate and finance a protest in opposition to his elimination by college students.
